| Last year At the Annual General Meeting of The Launceston Preparatory School Association which is held in March each year, the Co-Principals present a comprehensive report on the activities and operation of the school in the preceding year. This report describes ways in which the school has met its mission and added value to the education it offers. The Co-Principals provide a fairly detailed outline of the educational experiences provided during the year, citizenship activities, achievements in sport and outdoor education, Parents Club contributions to the school’s success, staff changes and professional learning pursuits and developments to facilities and resources. The written report provides additional material that meets the accountability requirements of the Australian Government, including our students’ results in national literacy and numeracy assessments, details on professional development activities and expenditure, staff and student attendance and teacher qualifications.
